Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actress. She is most famous for her appearances on AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (since). In addition to commercial appearances, she was a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also been the voice for Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the television pilot that has not yet aired New Warriors. Vayntrub, a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and her fled antisemitism at the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial troubles, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she quit and obtained a GED. She continued, however, to obtain a Bachelor of Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
